Auch Grass Valley hat zügig reagiert, um das potentielle QuickTime-Sicherheitsloch zu stopfen und bietet jetzt nativen Support für einige QuickTime Bild- (BMP (export only); JPEG; JPEG2000; TIFF; PSD; PNG; SGI; GIF; GIF89a; JFIF; sgi RGB) und MOV-Videoformate an, genauer ProRes, MPEG-2, H.264/AVC, MPEG-4, HDV, DNxHD/DNxHR, Grass Valley HQ/Grass Valley HQX, DV/DVCPRO, Motion JPEG, Uncompressed 8-bit YCbCr (2vuy), Uncompressed 10-bit YCbCr (v210) sowie Uncompressed 8-bit RGB.
Außerdem neu sind Support für 10-bit Bilder in den Formaten PSD/TIFF/PNG/GIF/SGI; ProRes 4444XQ; custom LUT (.cube) Import für die Primäre Farbkorrektur; GPU Beschleunigung für die Primäre Farbkorrektur sowie zahlreiche neue Farbräume für diese, wie BT.709, BT.2020, Canon Log 3 (BT.709/BT.2020/DCI-P3/Cinema Gamut), JVC LS300 Gamut/J-Log1 und Sony BT.2020/S-Log 3. Weiters wurde eine Reihe von Bugs beseitigt.
Und schon seit Juni wird EDIUS von Hitfilm Ignite Plugins unterstützt.
