MTV Australia auf der Suche nach Inhalt

Wie stelle ich als Fernsehsender sicher, dass ich eine erfolgreiche Serie produziere ? Ganz einfach: Ich lasse meine Zuschauer Entwürfe liefern und wähle dann einen Entwurf aus, der produziert wird (und dann mir gehört). So finde ich heraus, was mein Publikum will und spare auch noch Kosten. So oder so ähnlich mögen die Überlegungen von MTV Australia gewesen sein, um ihr neues one80project zu platzieren. Zusammen mit einem Handy-Hersteller als Partner wird zur Einreichung von Kurzfilm, Serienkonzeption etc. geworben. Der Preis besteht im "Gedreht werden". Der Aufruf richtet sich explizit auch an Produktionsfirmen. Allerdings haben es die Terms of Conditions in Punkt 18 und 19 in sich. Hier die Punkte

By submitting an entry the Entrants agrees that any tapes, files, disks, documents or other physical items included with your entry become the property of the Promoter

By submitting an entry, the Entrant agrees (in consideration for the Promoter&s review of the entry) that the Promoter has a non-exclusive and worldwide licence to use the entry (including all audio, visual or text) by way of any media for five years from the opening date for entries. Use of the entry may include, but is not limited to, publishing, performing in public, communicating in public and adapting the entry.

If an Entrant is selected as a finalist or as a winner, the Entrant agrees (in consideration for that selection) to assign to the Promoter all intellectual property rights in the dramatic work referred to in Condition No. 10. The Entrant also agrees to do whatever is necessary to give effect to that assignment.

To the extent permitted by the law, the Entrant consents to the Promoter doing any act or omitting to do any act (including without limitation editing or adapting the entry) in respect of an entry that but for this consent would be an infringement of the entrantÕs moral rights in the entry. The Entrant also agrees to do whatever is necessary to give effect to that consent.
