Canon mit Firmware-Updates für Cinema EOS C70, EOS C300 Mark III und EOS C500 Mark II

Wir hatten hier bereits über das Fimrware Update für die EOS R5C mit wichtigen neuen Funktionen berichtet, das bugbereinigt jetzt auch in der Version 1.0.5.1 zur Verfügung steht. Vor kurzem hat Canon jetzt auch für die größeren Cinema EOS Kameras wichtige Firmware-Updates zur Verfügung gestellt.

Der Funktionsumfang der Updates ist für alle drei Cinema EOS Kameras (nahezu) gleich. Zu den wichtigsten Neuerungen dürfte die Unterstützung des hochwertigen CN-E14-35mm T1.7 L S Zooms, die bessere Clear Scan Auflösung sowie die Veränderung der Waveformmonitor-Größe zählen. Die Canon EOS C70 erhält mit dem 1.0.7.1 Firmrware Update darüber hinaus noch verbesserte AF-Funktionen für das Tracking-Fenster und für die Kopferkennung bei seitlicher und Rückansicht sowie beim Tragen eines Helms.

Hier die Neuerungen der Canon Cinema EOS Updates im Detail:

Canon EOS C70 Firmware Version 1.0.7.1

1.The following features are enabled when the following lenses are attached: CN-E14-35mm T1.7 L S:
- Displaying metadata, such as the model name and the focal distance of the lens attached.
- Displaying T number.
- Support for Peripheral Illumination Correction and Chromatic Lens Aberration Correction.
- Support for[Dual Pixel Focus Guide].
2.Enhances Clear Scan resolution.
3.Enables to change WFM size.
4.Enables to change Vector scope gain by touch.
5.Enables to change WFM/Vector scope transparency.
6.Improves AF performance.
- Enables tracking frame to change variably depending on subject.
- Enables to detect heads facing sideways or backwards, or in situations such as when wearing a helmet.
7.Adds[Select Subject] assignable function via control ring/dial.

Canon EOS C300 Mark III Firmware Version 1.0.6.1

1.The following features are enabled when the following lenses are attached: CN-E14-35mm T1.7 L S:
-Displaying metadata, such as the model name and the focal distance of the lens attached.
-Displaying T number.
-Support for Peripheral Illumination Correction and Chromatic Lens Aberration Correction.
-Support for[Dual Pixel Focus Guide].
2.Enhances Clear Scan resolution.
3.Enables to change WFM size.
4.Enables to change Vector scope gain by touch.
5.Enables to change WFM/Vector scope transparency.
6.Enhances SDI-OUT functions.
-Adds the ability to output PsF when in S&F mode. (16:9 only)
-Enables Peaking in assistance display.

Canon EOS C500 Mark III 1.0.8.1

Firmware Version 1.0.8.1 incorporates the following enhancements:

Schön wäre ein Update, mit dem dann auch Zeitraffer mit 1 fps und langer Belichtungszeit gehen... Matthias

Ich hatte mich schon bei der ersten Ankündigung gefreut. Endlich die Größe der Waveform Anzeige bei der C70 ändern! Beim externen Monitor ist die nämlich viel zu groß, so...weiterlesen
