Frage von yoolar:Hello everyone! I have a fungus on my ir filter and i contacted the seller for replacement service, but he only offered to send the camera to the UK, which will take about 4 months... Does anybody know where can i replace it quickly and safe in Berlin? Thank you!

I mentioned the standard glass above the sensor, it's not ir filter? i didn't customize anything since i bought it..
Antwort von Jott:
It‘s a known problem that this cam is missing an IR filter, you need to mount one on the lens.
Your fungus is hopefully not directly on the sensor.
Wait until a Blackmagic owner chimes in here.

Do you think its directly on the sensor? I watched it from a different angles and looks like there is some glass above the sensor...

The Blackmagics do have IR cut filters in front of the sensor, but only comparatively weak ones (which is why their image is more susceptible to IR pollution).
Mold on the filter glass is unfortunately a known problem with BM cameras. I don't know of any repair shop that can do a sensor glass replacement except BM's European service unit in the UK. Sensor repairs can only be done in a cleanroom environment and are therefore a non-trivial fix.

Looks like no other options.. Thank you!
