Infoseite // Tonaufnahme mit 7d

Hallo zusammen,

hat jemand einen Tipp, wie ich mit der 7d vernünftige Tonaufnahmen hinbekomme?

Hab"s mit einem externen Mikro (Sennheiser ME66 + K6) probiert, welches an meiner Canon XM1 mit der Einstellung MIC-ATT- ON hervorragenden Ton lieferte: Völlig übersteuert und durch die automatische Aussteuerung bei leisen Passagen starkes Rauschen.

Muss ich auf ein Firmwareupdate von Canon hoffen (manuelle Tonaussteuerung!) oder bleibt nur der Weg über einene externen Recorder (z.B. ZOOM H2)

ich find das interne mic echt gut! ich spreche nicht von professionellen arbeiten, aber für just for fun sogar bei live musik gute ergebnisse. für 3 löcher nicht übel.

Naja, 4 Löcher sollte ein gutes Mic schon mindestens haben...

Der beachtek DXA-5D hat eine "Auto Gain disable" Funktion.
Using the AGC DSBL Feature
This switch is a means to disable the wild swings of the Auto Gain Control in the camera. It activates
an inaudible tone of 20 kHz to the left channel (when set to STEREO operation) that prevents the Auto
Gain Control from increasing the gain to its maximum level. This reduces the hiss that normally occurs
when the camera is recording audio during quiet moments. The tone is recorded by the camera but can
be easily filtered out if necessary. You can still use the left channel for recording normal audio at the
same time as the AGC DSBL feature is active.
You may also want to record audio only on the right channel and leave the left channel unused for the
AGC control signal if this tone presents a problem down the line. In this case, you should set the M/S
switch to S for stereo to keep the AGC signal separated from the recorded signal. Again, it is important
that you do a test recording and play back the audio to see if it is acceptable.
The AGC DSBL feature will lower the gain on the camera, which will require a sensitive microphone for

So ein Beachtek-Teil ist ja nun auch nicht gerade billig.

Könnte man denn nicht einen Zoom H4n oder Sony PCM-D50 als eine Art Limiter mißbrauchen und den Ton entweder beim Aufzeichnen live über den LineOut oder Kopfhörer-Ausgang in den Audio-Eingang einer 550D/7D/5D einspeisen, so hätte man eine komplett digitale Aufnahme im Zoom/Sony selbst und eine Art AD-Aufnahme (der Audio-Ausgang wäre ja analog) des Tons in der Kamera (die ja dann auf jeden Fall synchron sein müsste) - oder geht das gar nicht zeitgleich, ohne Latenz über den Audio-Ausgang...

So wie Du das beschrieben hast funktioniert das! Die AGC der DSLR zermanscht dann sozusagen den Sound vom (z.B.) Zoom H4n wieder... aber als Referenzton zum anlegen.... allemal.....

oh Mann, daran hab ich ja gar nicht gedacht, wie doof!

Schade, aber als Referenzton reicht ja auch das Microsignal der Canon, man wird ja je nach Recorder eh nochmal die auseinanderlaufenden Tnspuren synchronisieren müssen...

Das nächste Firmwareupdate der 5D MarkII wird wohl manuelle Tonaussteuerung beinhalten..... ich hoffe ja sehr das das für die 7D auch kommt....
