Da fragt man sich wie immer:

Lohnt es sich?

Das Risiko besteht leider, dass man nach dem Update mit Problemen zu kämpfen hat.

- Fix Scarlet 4K frame rate 28.97 limitation
Von diesem Problem wusste ich gar nichts.

- Fix inconsistent window location in the touch track mode
Auch hier ist mir nicht klar, was genau gemeint ist.

- Added Monochrome EPIC support

Zumal es sich um einen Release Candidate handelt.

Die richtigen Zuckerl fehlen - entweder kommen gar keine echten Funktionserweiterungen mehr oder Red spart sie sich für Weihnachten auf.
Aber eh egal - die Scarlet ist auch so lecker.

Es wurde schon paar mal gesagt, dass mit jedem Update das Power Management verbessert wird. Audio enhancement betrifft das sync Problem. Gestern erst hatte ich eine Interviewszene, wo ich plötzlich einen Audio Drift (sorry bin schon komplett verenglischt) drin war und ich erst nicht wusste woher es kam. Das ist damit endlich behoben.

Aber wie du schon gesagt hast---ich warte erst mal auf die Fehlermeldungen im Forum :D

Edit: Bis jetzt hatte ich aber noch nie Probleme mit den Updates. Du?

Es handelt sich halt um die "significant changes since previous build v3.3.12". Das in 0.0.2 Version nix dolles mehr hinzukommet ist doch klar. Sonst würde aus einer Beta auch nie eine Stable Version.

Edit: Bis jetzt hatte ich aber noch nie Probleme mit den Updates. Du? nein - nur das Update des Redmote ging einmal etwas holprig, aber Probleme hatte ich bisher noch mit keiner Firmware.

Etwas beunruhigend sind nur die Fehlermeldungen im Red-Forum, die jeder neuen Firmware folgen.

Alle diese Änderungen sind also in der Firmware drin und in einem Zustand, der beinahe stabil ist. Ist da nix dabei was du gebrauchen könntest? Nichts, was absolut dringlich wäre ...

zumal

aber eben dies ist mein Dilemma ... ein kleines Dilemma ...

Meine Scarlet tut was sie soll - das ist das Erfreuliche.

Meine Wunschliste ist auch nicht sehr lang.
50p bzw 25p/HDR bei 3k steht ganz oben ...
