Frage von japka129:Hello !
Im going to buy a canon camcorder XH-A1 but I also have available A1s model.
In the past I have already worked with A1 and it is awsome.
I know the difference between them but when I look at the test I see some big differences in colors (look at the pictures)
http://camcorder-test.slashcam.com/comp ... 18602.html
Is this because of the different presets or is in the A1s less expencive 3ccd processor because A1 has much nicer colors, it also have better picture at low light.
What do you think, and which model would you chose ??
thanks

We had this discussion here only a short time ago and came to the conclusion, that you can"t really rely on the test pictures: As far as we know, these pictures were taken with the cameras being in full automatic mode and with the factory preset (which is known to have room for improvement). Handled correctly, the picture quality of the XH-A1 and the XH-A1s should be quite similar. And with respect to all the other important features Canon improved, I would go for the newer XH-A1s, no doubt at all.

Thanks, but don"t worry: You are a genius when it comes to 3D or MacGyver-like DIY equipment instead. I fail miserably in both.
