Infoseite // pixel aspect ratio bei 16:9 letterbox

Hallo !

Eine Frage:

Ich habe mein Material auf einer 3-Chip MiniDV Kamera im 16:9 Modus (Letterbox) aufgenommen.

Jetzt will ich das Material in Vegas Capturen . Stell ich jetzt in den Project settings das template
- PAL DV (Pixel Aspect Ratio: 1,0926) oder
- PAl DV Widescreen (Pixel Aspect Ratio: 1,4568)

ein ? Mit welcher Einstellung habe ich am PC und am Fernseher eine unverzerrte Darstellung ?????

Hallo Felix,

16:9 Letterbox bedeutet, dass der Camcorder einfach schwarze Balken ins Bild einblendet. Es handelt sich technisch also nach wie vor um ein 4:3-Bild. Die korrekte Einstellung muss also lauten PAL DV.
