1 How would you describe the aesthetics of your film?
---|
-
2 Why did you choose to shoot on dv?
---|
Because we didn't have money and I want to try the
dv and see if it could be and alternative solution for
people like me making no-budget films but trying to
keep a hight quality in the images
3 What was special about shooting in dv (e.g.compared to 35mm, was it your first time with dv or are you used to it)?
---|
We were more quick and fast and we can view the images
every day and that is not possible when you shoot in
35mm in Africa.
It was the first time we use the DV but not the
last...
4 Which camera and which editing software did you use?
---|
We shoot with the SONY DSP 200
The editing was made on AVID systeme
5 What was your shoot-edit ratio?
---|
We shoot 30h and the film is 2h26mn long
6 Would you have preferred to shoot in another format? If so which?
---|
No.
7 Does using dv mean that you are considering other means of distribution opposing the established? If so which?
---|
No.
