Im BMCuser Forum hat einer die UMP G2 nun erhalten und ein paar interessante Beobachtungen geschildert:

A few quick observations. The G2 now has Neutrik XLR connectors, the older G1 had Amphenol. The LCD is better quality, much better color, contrast and viewing angles than G1.

The preamps are louder, but not sure if they have less noise than before. The sound on the G2 appears a little more sibilant than the G1, you notice the "S" a little more in speech. Don't think that the new preamps will replace recording on an external Sound Devices, but need to do more tests.

Much improved integration time. The rolling shutter is twice as short. Or basically it now has the same RS time as an Alexa. This is a big deal. I do a lot of hand held work with this camera and having a shorter RS time means the hand held shots have far less of the artifacts of RS like skewed verticals.

Improved CFA. They have tweaked the way the CFA filter looks and you'll find subtle tuning of the inherent look of the sensor now.

If anyone wants to see the G2 in action, catch Monday night's episode of The Resident. More than 40% of this episodes is shot G2. This is episode 220 "nothing better in the world".

Das mit dem LCD wäre ein Traum.
Ich liebe das Display der Ursa4.6, aber das der PRO ist graus dagegen. Wäre das nun angepasst (ausser der größe natürlich) würde mich das sehr Happy machen! :-)

Hat jemand zufällig neue Infos über die Auslieferung? Zuletzt hieß es April, jetzt listen viele Shops leider erst ab Mitte Juli.
