LCD Display geht nicht mehr

Mein Sohn hat die Hero2 heute bekommen und heute morgen ging das LCD-Display noch. Runtergefallen ist die Cam nicht, wir haben keine Ahnung, woran es liegt, aber das Display geht jetzt nicht mehr. Die Kamera alleine funktioniert. Das Display bleibt schwarz. Was kann das sein? FW habe ich schon geupdatet an der Kamera. Morgen hat mein Sohn Feier hier, da muss das Ganze funktionieren...

EDIT: Lösung gefunden in einem englischen GoPro-Forum: http://goprouser.freeforums.org/lcd-bac ... 3-140.html (nur nach Anmeldung sichtbar). Das Updaten der Hero2 reicht nicht, man muss das Backpack mit gedrücktem Button an die angeschaltete Kamera setzen und etwa 5 Sek. gedrückt halten. Dann kommt man ins Menü > Exit auswählen und alles ist wieder ok. :). Beim 2. Mal klappte es bei mir. Seitdem keine Probleme mehr.

you do realize, that it is not enough to just update the firmware ?
a certain procedure has to be done, in order, to make the cam and the bacpac communicate again
If you allready tried, my apologies, if not, try this:

1. Update your camera to the latest firmware, v.70, by connecting the camera to your computer with GoPro Cineform Studio software running. If you have not previously completed a firmware update or downloaded the GoPro Cineform Studio software, please follow this link for full instructions and download: http://gopro.com/support/hd-hero2-firmware-update/

2. Once you have successfully completed the update, power on your camera with the LCD BacPac removed.

3. Press and hold the LCD BacPac button, and attach the BacPac to the camera.

4. Keep holding the LCD button for about 5 seconds until you see the LCD BacPac come on and go into preview mode.
