Wer kann mir helfen.
Ich bin ein Neuling im bereich der Video bearbeitung mit dem PC.
Problem: Beim capturing verwirft das System sehr viele Bilder. Das Ergebniss ist natürlich ein sehr stark ruckelnder Film. Dieses Problem trat erst auf als ich die Festplatte auf den DMA Modus gestellt habe. Wenn ich DMA ausschalte geht das capturing ohne Probleme. Allerdings dann funtioniert das zurückspielen auf die Camerera nicht mehr
(Clusterbildung und ruckeln). Ist das normal das ich ständig hin und her schalten muß?

Hallo
Du wirst immer mit Msp 6 Probleme beim capturen haben. Außerdem beanspruchst Du den Camcorder immer 2 mal wenn Du mit Msp 6 capturst. Beschaffe Dir den Scenalyzer Live und Du hast Ruhe. Dieser speichert Dir in einem Ruck den Film auf die Festplatte wo Du den Film dann mit MSP6 weiter bearbeiten kannst. Den Scenalyzer Live gibt es als Demo , wenn er Dir zusagt dann kaufen. Mit diesem Programm kannst Du auch schon beim übertragen auf die festplatte Stücke heraus schneiden die Du nicht weiter bearbeiten willst. Kannst die Übertragung anhalten aber der Camcorder läuft weiter. Geht alles einfach über die Tastatur.

Günter hat Recht. Es sicher die einfachste und schnellste Lösung.
Solltest Du allerdings beabsichtigen, in nächster Zeit auf 6.5 upzudaten,
dann erübrigt sich das. MSPro 6.5 hat diese Funktion integriert.
Update bei Karstadt für 99 EURO.

Ich will mir ein ASUS A7S333 mit SIS745 zulegen, weil mit VIA in die Sch... gegriffen habe. Hast Du mit Deiner Äußerung einen begründeten Verdacht oder war das nur geraten? wieso 2 mal??? In einem Rutsch mit MSP6.0 auf die Platte und dann mit Scenelyzer (nicht Live!) zerhackt. Wo ist mein Denkfehler? Die Festplatte muss dabei doppelt so groß sein, aber dem Camcorder ist es egal.

Der liegt darin, daß es auch in EINEM Rutsch geht:
ScLive zerschneidet beim Capturen bereits und MSPro 6.5 tut das ebenfalls.

I am having problems with Capturing video from my Medion DV to my Computer. The software that came with the DV does not seem to work. It just opens a blank page everytime.
CAN SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP ME. I am not sure if I am replying to the right forum. I am sorry if this is the wrong Topic. Please can you forward this to the RIGHT person if this is the wrong Forum.
My DV Camera is from Germany and that is why I am writing top this Forum.

Dear Shrruti,
there might be a lot of reasons, why the connection between your camcorder and your pc doesn't work. In order to help, we need a little bit more information than you have given so far. We need to know your PC, in other words, the PC itself as well as installed hard- and software.
We cannot guess your nationality and therefore we don't know to which color system you belong to, PAL, NTSC, ???.
Give us some more hints and you should get the help you need.
My PC is a P3 500Mhz, 40GB hard drive and 256 MB Ram.
I have a USB port and have connected the DV Camcoder with a USB cable to my PC.
I have installed the Driver software...but when I open the software ...it does not work
Also another PHOTOSUITE SOFTWARE came along with the Camera. That software does not recognize a DV Camcorder...it only recognizes a Digital Still Camera.
I am India.
My problem...as I said before ...is that once I connent my DV camcoder to the Computer and open the Driver software...no video or picture comes. How do I capture it on my computer so that lter I can edit it through Premier & Adobe After Effects.

Dear Shrutti,
what you have, is a DV cam with photo function.
In order to get the photos into your computer, you need to use the USB port.
For transferring the video into your computer, you need a firewire connector in your computer. I don't know you knowledge about computers. But as you are writing in this forum, I guess you will be able to collect some information in english about firewire and how to install it in your computer. Just one word, you need at least WIN98SE and DirectX 8.0 plus the so-called DV patch for DirectX.
For processing the photos with your computer, you need the photo software, such as probably the photosuite is. For Videoprocessing you need video cutting software. Such software is mostly bundled with firewire cards, such as Terratec Cameo, Pinnacle, etc.
For further help, such as to tell you maybe where to buy what, we would need to know, where (country) you are, as most of such hints we can give for Germany only.
