NV-FS200 HQ display is not functioning anymore.

Hi,

The display of my panasonic NV-FS200 HQ is not showing anything anymore.

Does anybody know what the problem could be. The channels are all in tact. Recording is not a problem.

But programming is a bit hard without a display. ( I never used the barcode-pen)

Like to hear from any of you.

Sounds like either the display itself or the ribbon cable is broken.

This camera needs service, except you have experience with such devices, can open an assemble it again, make a proper diagnostics, and find a correct spare part.

It's not a camera but one of the best consumer SVHS-recorder. But I agree with the second part of the statement. ;-)
