It really feels like Windows 10 isn't allowing Resolve to communicate with QT somehow, so I dug back into security tabs and on the QuickTimePlayer.exe, I found a new group called "ALL APPLICATION PACAKGES" I've never seen in Win 7 before. It was set to read-only accesses by default, so I made it full control as well as all the other groups/users listed. I did the same for QTDecoder.exe tho not sure there was any changes on that one, can't remember. And lastly for kicks made sure both were set to Windows 8 compatibility mode. Apple's download page for the latest QT (7.7.8) still doesn't list Windows 10 and the 7.7.8 installer won't run if you download it, so maybe there's something going on here we don't know about it.
