SECAUCUS, NJ (July 20, 2009) – Initially previewed at NAB for $3,199, Panasonic's professional AG-HMC40 AVCCAM handheld camcorder will begin to ship in August at a significantly lower price, widening its appeal to a much larger customer base, the company announced today. Panasonic also announced that shipments of the new HMC40 camcorder will come initially (from August 2009 through March 2010) bundled with free EDIUS Neo 2 video editing software (Retail Value: $199).

Zumindest in Amerika wird der AG-HMC40 nun statt ursprünglich 3199 US-Dollar für 2295,- US-Dollar von Panasonic angeboten.

Ob das auch so nach Deutschland kommt?
Das wären 1617,- Euro!
Ist das dann zzgl MwSt.????

In Europa hat Panasonic seine eigene Preispolitik und ein starker Yen macht seit einem Jahr beliebte Camcorder teurer. Warum in den USA die Consumenten bessere Preise bekommen leuchtet hier in Europa niemanden wirklich ein. Allerdings gibt es nach der Registrierung auch 36 Monate Hersteller-Garantie mit Abholservice. Vielleicht macht dieser Service den Unterschied.
