regular consumer gear - ist das nun nur noch preisabhängig?

Profi-Technik dürfen sich eben nur Profis leisten können! :)

12bit-Raw von einem Sensor in
S35, Vollformat oder auch MFT
in 6k, 8k oder auch 4k genügen
nun einmal für die Kino-Leinwand.

Mag ja sein, dass Rolling Shutter oder DR in extremen Fällen beschränkend wirken können, aber im Normalfall genügen mittlerweile Kameras im 4-stelligen Preisbereich.

Also dann ist doch der Alibaba Sony Sensor zusammen mit dem (Fake RAW) BRaw Workflow scheinbar halt doch cinematisch genug, auch für Hollywood..;)
Wenn sie schon die Kingsman sogar u.A. mit modernem BMD Pocket 6K Gear machen.;)

Dann wir es wahrscheinlich mehr lange dauern bis der nächste und übernächste grosse Hollywood Film auch mit der neuen Ursa produziert wird…
Und wer weiss, vielleicht wird sich ja bald öfters mal ein australischer Kamera Hersteller Name auf der Oscar Kamera Liste zu finden sein.

So gut (und auch günstig) wie die neuen BMD Kameras sind, denke ich, war/sind ist das eh nur eine Frage der Zeit…

Marvel Studios’ “The Falcon and The Winter Solider” used Blackmagic Design Pocket Cinema Camera 6K to produce the stunning aerial skydiving sequence in the first episode of the streaming series.

“The Pocket 6K made sense for many reasons, including the ability to use high quality, low weight stills lenses, but primarily because we could shoot in Blackmagic RAW. That gave us far greater control for subsequent VFX work and grading. We could set an exposure and be reasonably confident that nothing would clip and that we would retain sufficient detail in the shadows.”

“We tested Blackmagic RAW against LOG footage shot on our other main cameras and the two integrated really seamlessly,” added Dillon. “We were actually really blown away by the image quality of the Pocket 6K sensor. It had minimal noise and a lot of room to stretch the images in the grade. This was important to us as we wanted to strip the cameras back to the bare minimum in terms of weight so we didn’t want remote iris or focus systems. The concept was to be able to set an exposure that could contain the full range of exposure, from bright sky to shadow detail, and the sensor performed really well.”
