Ana, Iker und Ramia haben sich über das Internet kennengelernt. Schon bei ihrer ersten Begegnung liegt eine irritierende Anspannung in der Luft, dennoch sind die drei so unterschiedlichen Jugendlichen fest entschlossen, sich zusammen auf den Weg zu machen.
Ganz bewusst lässt dieses Regiedebüt Ziel und Zweck der Reise offen. Auch spielen Biografie und Geschichte der Figuren keine größere Rolle. Alles wird in der Schwebe gehalten. Man fragt sich, warum Iker auf die kopftuchtragende Ramia so aggressiv reagiert, wofür sie ihm Geld zahlen muss, und welche Funktion die stets vermittelnde Ana in dieser Konstellation übernimmt. Ohne zu psychologisieren, baut der Film Nähe zu seinen Figuren auf.
Dann beginnen die drei, ihren ungeheuerlichen Plan in die Tat umzusetzen, und Fin wird zu einem Psychothriller. [aus dem Forumprogramm]

How would you describe the aesthetics of your film?
The aesthetics are minimalist; clean, with few elements on screen. We used a lot of hand-held in order to try to perceive the "breath" of the actors. We worked mostly with two lenses, 35-mm and 50-mm, and tried to get the actors to move within the frame as close to the lens as possible.

Why did you choose Red over other HD formats and analogue film?
We chose the Red One for quality. Its cinematographic look and feel, and the fact that you can work with good-quality lenses. Working with the Red One was fantastic in terms of image quality and versatility when filming.

What was special about shooting with Red (e.g. compared to 35-mm or
other digital formats)? Was it your first time with Red / digital or are
you used to it?
The most practical thing was being able to shoot very long scenes without having to change reels, which you have to do when filming in 35-mm. Because we wanted to shoot a lot of uninterrupted sequence shots in the film, we opted for the Red On because we could film for "hours" without cutting the scene.

What was your shoot-edit ratio?
We shot a total of 22 hours and the final running time of the film is 85 minutes.
