Hello, The Laird 5500 is the way to go, as it has component I/O. However, ProMax has a new firware update (fw 42) for it's DA-MAXX (SDI is nice!) which makes it compatible with Win XP/XDV 3.5 (I'm using XDV 3.5 now). I haven't used their new boxes yet, because ProMax has a TERRIBLE return policy; NO return policy. Laird lists for and DA-MAXX is from ProMax. I rent a Laird when I need it. I still haven't used a Miranda, because none of floated my way yet. B&H may have them, so take a look there. Valerie dvcam problem - "Perry Mitchell" From: A J Hi all, I have a dvcam sony dsr vx9000... Facing some prob. anyother tape if played in this doesnt show tc..or it blinks continuously.. Secondly if I record something in this unit it shows ..video ok & tc also ok in itself.. but the same portion if played back in anyother recorder doesnt show tc (timecode) in it at all.
