Das aktuelle Firmware-Update für die kleine Arri Alexa Mini bringt als neue Funktionen ua. Interval-Recording für Timelapse-Aufnahmen, einen Stop Motion Modus sowie die Möglichkeit, den Sensor zeitlich mit einem externen Timecode-Signal zu synchronisieren. Außerdem wurde die Menüführung etwas verbessert. Darüberhinaus ist -- noch in Beta -- ein 4:3 ProRes 2.8K Recording Modus und eine 2x anamorphische Entzerrung für EVF und externe Vorschausignale enthalten.

MPEG-2 recording, 50 MBit/s 422p@HL in MXF container: XDCAM HD workflow compatible
ProRes 4444 XQ recording (AMIRA Premium only)
AMIRA multi-cam interface: camera remote control with Sony RCPs
Intervalometer: for sophisticated time lapse and stop motion recordings
WiFi remote control support: full camera control with WiFi devices
Viewfinder status overlay enhancements, other usability improvements and improved support for accessories
Support for Lexar CFast 2.0 cards: 128GB and 256GB 3600x cards are supported
