Blackmagic halbiert Cloud Preise

Today we announced a dramatic price reduction for storage on Blackmagic Cloud! Until now the price has been USD$30 per TB per month, which might have reduced the number of people who could use Blackmagic Cloud services for global post production workflows. The new price has been cut by half and will be USD$15 per TB which should allow a lot more people to use cloud workflows.
This reduction has been made possible by improvements in our data center backend and the Blackmagic Design engineers. We think this will allow more talented people to come together and create amazing television shows, feature films and online content, no matter where in the world they live!
If you are currently using Blackmagic Cloud storage to sync media between cameras and DaVinci Resolve, then you will see your monthly payments reduced by half from today.

Genau - und wenn dann genug Nutzer aktiv sind, dann kann man die Preise langsam wieder anheben ;-)

Wer nutzt bereits diesen Dienst und wie und wofür genau und mit welchen Datenvolumen?

Wir nutzen das für Remote Production - hauptsächlich für Proxies, Projektdateien und einzelne Assets - da langt 1TB locker für ein Projekt (52 Minuten Doku).

Wir planen das zu nutzen, sobald wir das Go für eine TV-Serie - an der wir arbeiten - bekommen haben. Dann plane und teste ich den Workflow.
Aber wie jeder weiß, der schon mal was gepitcht hat - nix genaues weiß man nicht und Entscheidungen werden langsam bis gar nicht getroffen, dafür aber ständig umgeworfen...
