Hallo,

Editshare hatte letztes Frühjahr angekündigt, dass sie ihr Profi-Schnittsystem Lightworks als Open Source Projekt weiterführen und wahrscheinlich unter der GPL veröffentlichen wollen. Eigentlich wollte man dies während der IBC in Amsterdam tun aber was ist nun daraus geworden? Hat jemand Infos dazu? Google konnte mir leider nicht weiterhelfen.

Verdacht: Für Apple, Avid und Adobe wäre ein kostenloses Profi-Schnittsystem am Markt wie Lightworks wahrscheinlich ein Supergau. Vielleicht gab es von dieser Seite Anstrengungen. Ist aber nur ein Verdacht.

Hab mich auch schon drauf gefreut. Hoffe das kommt noch zum Download...

open source just around the corner verstehe ich als " nur mehr um die Ecke" also noch nichts Negatives. Aber die Bedenken kann ich verstehen. Als Marketig-gag wäre es zu viel des Guten![/b]
