Resolve 17.3 Update- 2-3 x schneller auf Apple Silicon.

Today we announced DaVinci Resolve 17.3 Update which adds support for a new, more efficient processing engine that’s up to 3 times faster. With this additional speed, you can play back, edit and grade 4K projects much more quickly on Mac models with the M1 chip and can even work on 8K projects on an M1 notebook! The improved processing engine also means you will be able to work in DaVinci Resolve for up to 30% longer before needing to plug in to recharge your notebook.
This update also adds new Resolve FX controls including aperture diffraction in DaVinci Resolve Studio which now has an anamorphism control to emulate a wider range of lenses. Mosaic blur has new grid shapes and greater control, allowing you to more precisely adjust the amount and appearance of pixellation. Keyer garbage mattes now have rotation controls, making it easier to remove unwanted items from view while new saturation and gamma controls on the glow plugin give you greater control and subtlety over your lighting effects.
For audio, there are improvements in audio latency with new drivers that allow you to make adjustments to the input buffering and processing latency. This allows you to optimize the process for your specific hardware, making recording and playback easier and smoother. Better Fairlight export dialog means you can export selected clips or tracks directly from the Fairlight page and include clip levels, fades, EQ and effects or iXML metadata as well as being able to normalize your clips to match different loudness standards. This makes it easier and faster to pass on audio for further processing or inclusion in a larger project.
Additional improvements include subclip match framing where edits from subclips can now be match framed back to your original larger clip in the media pool, giving you the ability to extend your in and out points on the timeline more quickly. Plus, DaVinci Resolve will now decode AVC Intra files using the media engine built into the Apple M1 chip, making decoding and playback faster when working with these file formats.
